Professional Plug Mix:
This is the mix we use for the majority of our plug production in our greenhouse. It is a peat/perlite/vermiculite mix, but also has a number of other additives including RootShield® for optimum performance. The salinity is low to promote germination and it is screened through 1/4" to ensure uniform fill for small cell sizes. Does not contain compost or castings.

 Certified Organic Plug Mix:
This mix is specifically designed with a low salinity and fine particle size for small seedlings. The low salinity helps promote germination and the small particle size (screened through 1/4") helps ensure uniform fill for small cell sizes. RootShield®, earthworm castings, and our own thermally produced compost are included in the mix.

Professional Grow On Mix:
This is our conventional growing soil for larger packs and containers. It is patterned after the mixes we use in our own greenhouse, providing a well-balanced, high-quality mix to help your plants off to the right start. It contains our own compost, RootShield®, and other ingredients to balance the pH and nutrients. It is screened through 1/2" screen.

Certified Organic Grow on Mix:
This is our high grade mix for growing your plants and seedlings on to finish. RootShield®, our own compost, earthworm castings, and a number of other high quality ingredients round out the peat/perlite/vermiculite base. Use this mix for more long-term crops, high-value crops, and for the more difficult to grow species. Performs well with a soil blocker.

Shrub/Perennial Mix:
Basic growing mix with peat, composted bark, and compost. We can also add your slow release fertilizer to a minimum order of 10 pallets. Available in 60 cu. ft. bulk bags. |
Certified Organic Potting Mix:
This is our economy line of mix for short term crops or for repotting where a less expensive mix is needed. This mix is balanced but does not contain the more expensive additives present in our other recipes. Performs well, even in a non-organic setting, and makes a great addition to your retail store selection of bagged soils.

Compost-Rich Growing Mix:
This mix is our newest addition and will provide sustained fertility, reducing` the need to liquid-feed your transplants. It is a heavier mix than our Plug Mix and Grow On Mix, and works especially well for vegetable seedlings. Contains RootShield® and amendments. Available in 56L white grower bag.

Certified Organic Earthworm Castings:
Castings are an end product for our fishing worm production system. They are screened through a 1/8" screen and are very biologically active. See the Earthworm Castings section of this web site for more info.

Top Soil:
We've worked with golf courses, sports fields, and landscapers to come up with a great high fertility topdressing. It is a blend of our high quality compost and peat, screened through a 1/2" screen so that there are no rocks and sticks. In addition, this product is basically weed free. Available in 18kg bags.
