Despite the dropping temperatures, there are sure signs that spring is on its way. Take the longer days for instance…don’t you feel that spark of hope that winter will not last? Well, here at the greenhouse, it energizes me to see the abundance of new life emerging as young seedlings.
This week alone, over 5 million seeds will be dropped in fertile soil and start growing. Our seeding team of 13 will be sowing over 17,000 trays with about 500 different varieties. It’s just awesome to think about that much flower power! Winter doesn’t stand a chance!
